10 years - James

I just spent the weekend in Disneyland at a friends wedding. I learned how to draw so in 10 years I am going to still be a photographer and also an amateur cartoon character drawerer. You can see my skills here.

World Photo Day

If you have a camera of any kind you're invited to participate in World Wide Moment.
Our goal is to find people around the world willing to take a photograph at the exact same moment.

It's happening August 7th @ 5:08PM in Portland and the West Coast, August 8th @ 8:08AM in Beijing.

Everyone is invited. EVERYONE.
If you're interested email us, check out our website, and spread the word.

Thanks! Brett/WWM

in ten years...

In ten years I will still be a photographer. Someone who has a vision and recreates that vision through the means of photography, unlike a digital artist who can recreate the same vision in photoshop. I think photographers need to make a stand and stick with what photography is: Capturing a scene or vision with a camera. If one creates images mainly by the use of photoshop, then that person should consider him/herself a digital artist but not a photographer. And I am not saying that using photoshop is a bad thing, I just think there should (and I think will in the future) be a differentiation between the two crafts.
